Instead of getting ready separately, Kimmie and Nicholas decided to help each other get dressed on the morning of their Smoky Mountain Elopement. They got dressed inside this epic eclectic and geometric, clear-sided glamping tent by Stay Minty, which is on the same campground where they later exchanged their private vows.

After exchanging vows, the couple cozied up together over a celebratory dinner nearby on the campsite. Everything used in creating their boho autumnal sweetheart table setup was actually from Kimmie's wedding rental supply company!

After enjoying their dinner, we went for a drive about an hour from the campground to hike the Max Patch Trail. The walk up to max patch was a short, gradual inclined hike through meadows and forest along a foot path. The trees were in peak season and glowing a gorgeous red and orange hue.

At the top of the max patch trail, everything feels very wide and expansive. Plus, there is a glorious 360 degree view of the hazy layered blue mountains. As we roamed the area for photos, it literally felt like I was in a meadow up in the clouds!

After the sun had set, we pulled out camping lanterns to get some more dramatic and moody shots, while playing with the dwindling light. Using lanterns is currently one of my favorite things to do when closing out an elopement day!
